About me
I am a post-doctoral research fellow at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and a member of the research group DEC. Before this, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Chair of Political Sociology and Social Policy at Humboldt University in Berlin. Before joining Humboldt, I was a pre-doctoral fellow at the University of Barcelona (UB), where I developed my doctoral thesis. I completed my Master’s degree at the University of Barcelona and I hold a BSc on Politics and International Relations from the University of Bath (UK).
My research mostly revolves around the field of political behaviour and public opinion. One of my research lines inquires over the public’s preferences on welfare reform, particularly focusing on support for universal basic income and competing cash transfer alternatives. A second line of research is concerned with how gender and politics intersect, exploring how gender inequalities and gender-based violence affect political behaviour, amongst other issues. My research is based on strong quantitative designs, mostly through the use of surveys and experiments.
