Academic trajectory
I am a post-doctoral research fellow at the Autonomous University of Barcelona (UAB), and a member of the research group DEC. Before this, I was a post-doctoral researcher at the Chair of Political Sociology and Social Policy at Humboldt University in Berlin. Before joining Humboldt, I was a pre-doctoral fellow at the University of Barcelona (UB) and IBEI, where I developed my doctoral thesis. I completed my Master’s degree and a Post-graduate degree on data analysis at the University of Barcelona. I hold a BSc on Politics and International Relations from the University of Bath (UK).
Research agenda
The core of my research agenda is set in the field of political behaviour and public opinion. One of my research lines inquires over the public’s preferences on welfare reform, particularly focusing on support for universal basic income and competing cash transfer alternatives. A second line of research is concerned set at the intersection of gender and politics, exploring how gender inequalities and gender-based violence affect political behaviour. My research is based on strong quantitative designs, mostly through the use of surveys and experiments.
